David Jassy

David Jassy was convicted of murder as a result of an altercation that occurred in Los Angeles in 2010.  He maintained his innocence throughout trial and throughout the 11 years he spent in prison.  There was ample evidence to support his claim that the death was accidental.  In 2020, David was released based on a clemency petition granted by Governor Newsom.  For more information about David’ case go to: https://californiainnocenceproject.org/read-their-stories/david-jassy/
